ANZAC Day has grown in significance with each passing year. I remember as a primary school student, the original ANZAC?s were still involved in the marches around the country and Vietnam veterans being relatively young middle aged men. I?m sure many of us wondered what would happen as some of the World War 1 veterans died.

Tomorrow is the final day of Term 1, 2023, a term that started in early February for 335 children. What memories will you take away from the last 11 weeks? 2023 Term 1 has been our first normal start to the year since the outbreak of Covid.

Imitation is a wonderful representation of flattery. I still remember smiling and sometimes pulling faces at my daughters when they were born. Engaging with your children from the moment they are born is one way of developing bonds, demonstrating your love and developing a lifelong relationship. As years pass, these actions will always remain important. Others become just as important.

As a Catholic school we believe in the importance of celebrating Mass. The Mass enables us to gather and experience the joy of Jesus?love for us. For me breaking open the word of God via the readings from the bible allows me to reflect on my own life.
