From somewhat humble beginnings in 1970 with 50 children enrolled and three teachers, our school has grown to its present number of 340 students and 25 staff members.

 

We provide a broad based education and caring learning environment that enables all children to realise their full potential in all aspects of their development. Our learning spaces and teaching philosophy are based on world class research as to how children learn best. We believe that all children are born with talents and are special individuals, so it’s our job is to foster and develop these.

 

Our school is recognised for the family friendly atmosphere that is promoted through parental involvement in all areas of the school. This includes our School Council, helping with reading in the learning spaces and welcoming new families, helping with the school fund raising, including regular Wednesday night bingo and Friday assemblies.

 

Holy Spirit provides an environment of a Catholic and Christian culture where the meaning and message of Jesus Christ is available to all students. This message permeates all dimensions of our school life. Our school has a strong association with neighbouring Holy Spirit Parish and regularly attends mass and celebrations in the church.
