“Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So…… Get on your way!” (Dr Seuss) And so we move into the final school day of 2018. I’m sure we all have many memories of our school year. I would like to acknowledge and give thanks to all members of our community for their contributions to our school in 2018.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians, past and present, of the lands of the Wiradjuri, Yorta Yorta, Walgalu and Ngarigo people, on whose lands our schools are built.
Long before us, they lived, loved and raised their children on these lands.
We also acknowledge all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in our community and acknowledge their physical and spiritual connections to the land.
We come together to learn, to share and to journey together.
