A community is defined as a group of people who have something in common. Our school is made up of a number of communities, these include class communities, the parent community and staff community. Together we form the Holy Spirit School community. All of us have a vast range of communities that we are a part of, including our own family communities.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians, past and present, of the lands of the Wiradjuri, Yorta Yorta, Walgalu and Ngarigo people, on whose lands our schools are built.
Long before us, they lived, loved and raised their children on these lands.
We also acknowledge all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in our community and acknowledge their physical and spiritual connections to the land.
We come together to learn, to share and to journey together.
