We’re thrilled that you want to enrol your child into Holy Spirit. This page has everything that you need to know about enrolment.
Children may be enrolled into Holy Spirit Primary School if their parents are willing to support the school’s religious principles and practice the Catholic faith.
If applications for places exceed the number of available positions, priority of opportunity for enrolment will be offered according to the following criteria:
- Siblings of children already attending HSS
- Children living in the Holy Spirit Parish
- Children baptised in the Catholic church
- Children baptised in other Christian and Orthodox religions
Please note that an application for enrolment should not be considered as a successful enrolment.
We will send an offer of placement to all successful applications.
Kindergarten enrolments
Enrolments for Kindergarten at Holy Spirit are processed from Term 1 of the year prior to the child starting school. It needs to be: At that time, applicants for enrolment are interviewed by the Principal and are notified if their application is successful or has been declined. If successful, a letter of offer will be sent to the applicant to confirm their acceptance of enrolment. It is important that prospective parents enquire early to avoid disappointment, as vacancies fill fast.
Enrolments in other classes are also accepted throughout the year with success dependent on vacancies existing in those classes. Holy Spirit operates a ‘waiting list’ in many classes due to its reputation and popularity within the greater Albury area.
